Warriors of light cuaght in a dark world.

They laughed at him, teasing Andrew with words of 'you won't make it' or 'you won't save her.' He hated these voices in his head but it only was a dream to him. He had to find a way to wake up and find her or at least wake her up. This was just a nightmare for both of them. A dream that the dark evil one was messing with their minds to slow them on their journey. Andrew grips his sword and shook his head, quickly swinging and slashing each beast that shows up that he keeps moving foward trying to get to Margret.

He runs for a while now then at the same time, he sees a light showing up that it takes him back to the real world. He snaps awake coughing but looks around quickly. He looks down seeing Magret not waking up that he tries to wake her up. "Hey, wake up!! Wake up!!" he said shaking her that she turns her head to the right still not waking up. He had to try waking her or else he was worried of losing her.

She still heard the voices in her head even in her dreams as they were still screaming and yelling out. This was only the main reason after so long. That was the problem in her mind before she feels more touching her cheeks and tightening their holds. However, she shuts her eyes tightly feeling more afraid now. She was feeling her own mind and will breaking after all this before she feels weaker now thanks to it. That's when the voice chuckled to grip her chin forcing Margret to look up.

"Give up wench..I win. I always win." he hisses about to kiss her but she shook her head crying now. The evil one glares at her before hearing some shouting. "Wake up!! Wake up Margert!!!!"

In the real world, she shook in her sleep while he kept on trying to wake her till he grips her shoulders again and gives her a hard shake and a shout, "WAKE UP!!"

Right away, she snaps awake gasping in fear. She sits up holding her chest but Andrew looked worried since she seems to be freaking out. "Easy it's me! It's me Andrew!" he said holding her still as she was freaking out.

"Margeret its okay. Im here youre safe now. The dream is iver toure awake." He said. Panting and still terrified she realized it was all a horrible dream and saw he had been trying to wake her. She still clutched her chest and then leans into him sobbing. He held her and the spirit of light was silent. It couldnt help them through this trial and she was still feeling the effects of what happened.

He couldnt do anything except try to calm her with hished tones and gentle rocking. He knew what she had suffered he had seen it before.

"I know it seems hopeless now but keep fighting. We will stop the evil in this world and have peace." He said and she wa sslowly calming down.

"Im marked... the dreams wont end. Sometimes they keep going until my insides are broken and im begging for him to make me his queen." She said and he understood. "I always wake up feleing the desire and hunger for more and it makes me sick... they broke me. I was only able to escape because i was still resisting when he let his gaurd down."

He looked at her face sweetly movong her bangs away from her eyes. "I had a nightmare too. I was fighting to save you and i couldnt. I was getting closer to you onto to have you noving away while i watched what happened." He admitted to her

"..That...makes it very disturbing.." she grumbles at the thought that Magreret just covers her face feeling Andrew looking worried even more. He didn't want to freak her out from this but that just tells him he has to do something to help her. That or her trying to get through this trial. He didn't know what sort of feeling was going through her right now.

"Margret I know you are scared but it's fine. We are going to get through this and defeat that monster. He will not get away with this." he said seeing her move away from Andrew with her eyes looking right into his own eyes.

"How are you sure? I'm already tainted Andrew. That monster..already had taken my own innocence away. Becoming the one thing he always desires. Slaves to keep him happy...how in the world can I get through this? I know I have to but that makes it harder......it makes it hard to ignore them and not to become terrified..." she hugs herself seeing him growing more concerned about her.

"....Meg.."

"I know you and I have to get through this trial....and yet it hurts. I still feel the limbs touching and rubbing me. I don't want to feel more but he keeps torturing me till I break. Their touches is still everywhere..I can still feel his touch. It burns my skin..I..." He noticed her shaking now that Andrew became more worried. A sudden dark chill was felt in the air, warning him that the dark lord was growing excited seeing and feeling her fear. Just like any other woman. The light shook feeling that but speaks to Andrew quietly.

"You must keep moving on. I fear the dark lord is growing hungry due to her fear. Get her away from here..."

"Now that we are awake... lets get out of this valkey and criss the mountains." He suggested to her. He didnt touch her thunking he would trigger something. She nodded and the cold feeling was growing closer. They had climbed into the front to set off and leave when a shadow crossed their path. The shadow rose put of the ground and took shape into a jet black skeleton. Its darkness was so potent ot almost hides the fact it was a skeleton. This creature was a demon knight. Long ago it was a human knight that gave itsekf willing to the demon and was flooded with evil energy thst replaced all its body except the bones. When a demon knight is formed the body is possesed and consumed by a demon.

It didnt attack yet the shadows billow around it coming form the bones itself and pretending to be armor. It raised a ckawed hand and pointed at her. At onceher body felt a supernatural pull towards it as the evil spirit called to the mark. It was so sudden that they barely had time to register what the creature was before she felt her body wrapped in dark limbs.

"Mine." It said in a cold voice that froze her heart she knew that voice... "you were mine until i almost claimed you. In my pride i gloated and you killed me. Not this time. This time when your little friend is dead i will push inside and ravage you with the powers of darkness. As i should have before i gloated" Its voice echoes in her mind and her dark mark made her body grow wet and wanting.

Andrew leapt down with a cry "over my dead body" before the demin knight suddenly attacked before he was ready to defend himself the fist disconnected and flew at him hitting andrew in the chest and sending him flying. He missed the csrt by inches and hit the hillside next to it.

"Thats the idea foolish boy. Ill kill you while she watches and drink thw dispair of her heart when i claim what i should have before i died." She was bpund by the dark power unable to move and forced to watch andrew fight a superior monster as good as alone.

"N..No! Leave him alone!! Leave Andrew alone!" She cries out struggling a bit trying to break free but this makes her feel more afraid from what was happening right now. She tries to break free from this but it only makes her become afraid again. This monster coming back from the dead as she sees them fighting in mid combat. She wanted to stop this or at least bring a end to him but he had her under his control again. Just like before.

"Don't bother trying to fight it. You know you'll end up falling like the rest. The possible outcome of this just makes it more exciting. You really are something else. Thinking you were able to stop me by slaying me. However now, you are only delaying the out come of this. This while reason of fighting me will end you.." he said in his mind but Andrew just kept fighting through this. She begins to still struggle but winces from the voice that booms in her head.

"Stop fighting me...you know this has to happen don't you? It's what you know will happen...you will come back with me. Back at my feet right where you belong. You know you missed that." he kept on speak to her but she only refused.

"I don't..miss any of that. I don't miss it..I hated all of it..."

"If you hated it then why are you like this? A simple touch here..." he had a limb stroke her in between the legs that she gasped shutting her eyes tightly. "You gasp under it. This proves to me you wish to be ruled again."

"NO!" she screams out squirming but Andrew got angry still fighting against this thing. He had to get her free and get away from here. This monster and place was already messing with her mind. She struggles more but felt the mark throbbing within her. It hurt but this made her feel sick. She wanted to get out of this grip and run or help him fight that beast.

Andrew missed alot but got a few good hits in. He healed himself after getting hit twice and hjs power was still holding up. The demon knight couldnt heal itself and it still rubbed between her legs messing with ber mind as her body betrays her and quivers. It never fekt anything inside exceot by her mouth and it was demanding more of this feeling as tears ran down her eyes.

Dark tentdrils snake around her sensitive spots and squeeze her breasts srl rubbing between her legs as the fight went on. Andrew was missing again and she still struggled. Andrew was getti g desperate and more exotic with hjs attacks. The demon knight and andrew keep fighting then she cries out feeling her nipples rubbed and her fokds pushed aside. A thick one rubbed its length between her legs before she was stripped of her armor and clothes.

If andrew had nkt seen her at the lake that would have distracted him. He was abke to keel hjs gaurd up and focus even as he coukd see what was happening to her. The demon knight was in fact growing weaker and desperate for its satiafaftion and vengence.

He panted in a heavy grasp, trying to find a way to get rid of Andrew or at least stop him. This dark knight was trying to find a way to kill Andrew but he was too quick. "Idiot human. You dare keep testing me!? Why won't you die and let me have what I desire!" he shouts with a swing of his sword that Andrew deflects with his own.

"I won't let you take Margret away from me! I'll slay you before that happens!" he shouts out while looking at her still remaining silent. They still kept fighting with swings of their swords that another was unsure about it. This was going to become another long fight but he had to do his best in order to try and stop it. Knowing the possible choices of this, he had to hurry to help her.

The battle would end sooner than she expected.

With a loud roar the demon knight lashed out with its fist and andrew took the blow dead on he was running low on magic at this point and healed himself and blocked the retaliation. Then andrew somehow got in a goot clean strike and chopped the demon knight in two. With the customary flash of light from a defeated monster they both felt their powers grow once more and she was freed.

She crumpled yo the ground holding herself and shaking vuolently. Her body was worse than ever before even when she was trapped the first time in her world. The dark energy was lingering and causing side effects like oversensitivity and muscle spasms that make her body writhe with wicked pleasure. With no power left and half of his stamina depleted he fell down and reached out to her.

The spirit of light hovers between them and watches carefully. Margaret heard what he said to the demonknight and shyed away from his touch.

"N-no.. not yet... if you touch me now ill lose it." She said panting and supressing a whine of need. He withdrew his hand and suddenly realized kust how close she had come to giving herself to the demonknight and siding with it afaibst andrew.

"She isnt evil. She isnt even a bad person. Her body chemistry was drastically changed to make her more appealing to monsters" the spirit says soflty to both and he sat up and gathered her clothes and armor. While she spent the next few hours recovering her senses he left the armor and clothes nect to her and keeps watch for any other unexpected developments.

Her spasms were reduced to faint twitching by the time she sat up and dressed herself. He had respected her privacy and was patrolling the area when she stood up and walked over to him. He was out of sight for many steps, she forgot how many,and she soon found him at the top of a grassy knoll looking out at the ongoing battle. She sat next to him and took his hand in hers.

"Why do you fight so hard for me?" She asks softly and he didnt look at her. She was curious and wonders just what he meant by taking her away from him.

"Because im a hero and its kinda our job to defend everyone." He replied and she saw through that right away.

"Be honest. seeing what you saw just then. Seeing me in the kake and now you gusrd me while i recover... why?" She asks and leans hee head on his arm. She was flirting with dangerous feelings but didnt care. He was soothing ti her after her ordeal.

"Because, im convinced we need eachother. You save me from myself and i protect you from monsters that want your body. I also owe you for crafting the gear i use to protect myself in battle and the countless times the gesr has saved me." He said and it was a bit closer to the whole truth.

"Is this the whole truth? Of what you really wish to do to help me and yourself? I know I almost got caught twice or more like years ago but.....I don't want to keep falling like that. Knowing they are close in getting what they desire. I just...I hate it. From this feeling and so much pain is only making me feel worse now." She looks out to the field in front of them but she lets go of his hand to sit up. All of this was becoming too much for her and she hated it. She hated falling like a weak victim but this was telling Margret she had to change or lose herself forever.

"..You shouldn't say that you now. You are strong......it's just because of that cursed mark that they use against you. I just wish their is a way to fix that or be rid of it. You should be free and not some prisoner." he said looking ahead but she shook her head. She's tried that many years ago and nothing worked. No magic or spell could get rid of this cursed mark inside of her. She was forever branded by them to prove she's someone's plaything.

"....I know their is a way to get rid of it, Magret. We have to try.." he hoped their is someone that can help them but she shook her head once more. No one could help her and she knew it. Which is why she gave up that hope years ago after being reborn. He knew their was a way but she already gave up that hope which was not good. He tried to speak but stops seeing her stand up looking out.

"You know? Even if you are a hero, you shouldn't over think in those kinds of hopes or promises. They aren't always made to be made but broken later down the road. Just don't worry about me. I'll keep holding on till I complete this. Or.....unless I break under what they hope of me......" she looks down with her eyes shadowed now but this only leaves her remaining silent after some time. He now really was worried about her thinking this and it only made her really worry about her more times than normal. She shouldn't think like this but this mark must be doing it.

"........We better hurry on. WE still have a mission to do...or..you have a mission to do." she mutters to walk down the hall to their cart and horses.

"Maggie wait.." he started to say while reaching out ti her but the spirit of light cut him off.

"Let her have this. Its all paet of the strengthening and tebuilding of her heart." The spirit said to him and he let his hand drop.

"There has to be a way. " he said and asked "there is isnt there?" He was desperate to help her. And she couldnt hear what was being said due to the evil thoughts she was fighting.

"There is." The spirit almost amused. "But im not allowed to tell you its something she has to discover, or do all in her own. You got close to it back at the lake is your only hint." The spirit teplied and fell silent.

Andrew was frustrated that the spirit couldnt give him a straight answer. And huffed as he returned to the cart.

She was waiting for him and found peace in the memory of the lake. He had made her react to his touch while washing her and it banished the evil feeling replacing it with a good one. She was sure he didnt use magic and she was sure it wasnt bad. Then she felaxed as best she could.

He climbs i tk the cart and together travel around and out of the grasslands. The mountain pass was uneventful. No monsters or travellers and no snow or rain. The day it took to get over the mountain was the most peaceful she and he had known since their adventure began.

Isolated with no monsters or demons mad eher mark weak and she felt free. She cheered up and leans against him resting and snoozing. She was afraid to sleep deep enough to dream and her snoozing was a little fitful. At the peak of the pass he stopped the cart to set up camp.

He did want her to at least nap to regain her strength but Margret always refused to do so. She didn't want to awaken to another horrible nightmare again like the night before. That and she had to do something in order to help her sleep but not too deep. He found it silly to think of that sort of plan but she had to do something in order to stop herself from falling too deep.

"I say you shouldn't do it, Maggie. You know how tired someone can get when not sleeping properly. What if you get ill and start seeing things then what? You won't be able to think clearly." he argues with her but she refused to think about it.

"That is why I need to think of a way to help msyelf, Andrew. I don't want that monster to keep going at this. He was close to doing it again. That's what they want out of me. One chance of letting my guard down then get caught by them. I don't want to be taken away into the dark...I've been there once and it's not enjoyable. It's horrible.. I just want to figure out some way to stop this from happening."

"....even if your idea is terrible.." he grumbles that she moves her head from his shoulders to look away from him. It's not silly but scary. Margret wanted to stop them all from doing this to her they only seem to keep going even worse. She only lets out a sigh not wishing to over think it.

"I heard that and its not. I want them to keep away from me.. I don't want them to keep doing this to me alright?"

"You stil need sleep. Dont make me use my magic on you to do it?" He warns and she looked surprised.

"You can do that?" She asks curious and something told him to talk about it.

"Yes i can. So far i can heal myself use various fire spells glow or make anything i touch glow for about 100 steps put people or weak monsters to sleep. And use magic to keep monsters weaker than me away unmess i want tk fight. Im certain i wil be abme tk return to any city ive been tk if we kill enough monsters." He said and she knew he was telling the truth and she begins tk wonder just how powerful she had become ad what her own powers were.

"You... you learnd all that just fighting monsters?" She asks and he nods.

"Its what i could do before. Mosty. I couldnt use that wide fjre spell that i used on the trees and mking things i touch kr my body glow is also new. But sleep. Thats easy. I dont thinm there are any dreams from such a spel." She was amazed and looks at her hands. What sort of magic coukd she do?

"Well, I had no idea you could do such a thing with your magic. Knowing the possible outcome of this tends to leave me wondering what else you know." she knew it's not possible but seems like she was wrong. Andrew sighed shaking his head but turns to look at her as she was looking down thinking about this.

"I can but right now, we are not done talking. You need to get better sleep you know. Forcing yourself to stay awake will only weaken you more. Even more than you think." he tried to explain this to her but she shook her head.

"I told you I'm fine. I don't want to sleep..I will just close my eyes and nothing more. Besides, I know ways to keep me awake but not drain me in the process.." she looks seeing Andrew shaking his head but he sees her looking at the small camp fire he created.

She ws right. He nkticed that tending to her forge and the kiln was skmethjng that eels her awake without drauning her. "At least you are going to rest... if you start forging i want to sleep. " he said and she shrugs. It was okay with her for now to rest befkre worling but soon she made progress. Remembering thst it was a dream and not a reflection of her true sorrow once agai. She stoked thw coals unter the tng

"..*Sighs* At least you get that Andrew.." she said looking at him that he shrugs looking back at her. He only wishes to see her rest peacefully with no more bad dreams hitting her. She already had a hard time sleeping yesterday so he didn't what this to repeat again. It might or it might not.

When she wasnt look8ng he put her to sleep. It was a dreamless sleep slasting three hours becuase there were no endorphins or cortisol in her bidy from edcitement or a fight. He was careful to wait until she laid down to rest. He didnt knkw what was over the edge of these mountains and he was certain there was a town. A town with some dsrk secret no 9ne living there knew about. A town primitively sacrificing their women to a monster to keep living.

She wasnt going to like it there and this feeling came from the spirit of light the monster was something he had fought before only once in his world since there was only one. And it was a powerful creature rivaling a demon in terms of power and greed. He needed her rested before they fight it and their reward would be one of the materials for a legendary weapon meant to be used on the demonlord.

He sees her still sleeping thanks to his magic spell but it was so she's not at risk yet. And she'll get enough energy and rest after a while. Looking around, Andrew just covers his face after a couple minutes he sees her leaning against the side of the crate while heading that way after a while. He didn't say anything else but just lets her sleep during that time.

When she first woke up she saw a smoking volcano covered in trees and on the slope beneath the treeline she was a settlement. It was primitive and very poor looking. As they got closer she felt fesr all around her. There was a lowerful fear if monsters but ni mobsters were anywhere insight.

"Where are we?" She asks sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"Were in the snake valley... i picked this location because i feek something ive fought before and thought i killed." He said calmly and she saw that wasnt exactly true. He was a little nervous but the fear she felt from the village from this distance was more distracting.

When they arrive at the gate they see it wasnt gaurded and there were way les people than dwellings indicating that many people have died and their homes were vacant. No one spoke and then as the get to the top of the hill the largest structure loomed. It was a massive temple. It looked new only a few years old and it seemed most of the remaining villagers were inside and praying. The only word they could hear was orochi and the name carried fear.

That name made him turn white and age visibly. She saw his reaction to the name and took the reigns from him. "No." He whispers clearly he hoped he was wrong but he was right. This... Orochi was something he had fought beforw and it was a horrible memory for him.

They pull up to the inn and stable the horse before walking inside. It was deseted and the inn keeper was an old man who was very surprised to see visitors. He didnt speak their language but andrew spoke his. Badly it seemed. She caught a few words like time orochi and a number and the rest just mad eher head hurt.

"Well to be honest im at a loss. Margeret... i think we need to stay here. He said somethinf aboit orochi banning outsiders but there ws something abput a preistess as well. I think this preistess is what they are calling a sacrifice to the monster in exchange for a day of life for the village..."

"How long has this been going on?" She asks and andrew looked down.

"About as long as it has been since i fought this thing in my world... its a giant 6 headed snake with arms and legs of a lizard... it used to have 8 heads but i cut those off..." he shuddered hard and the fear felt in this place was written on his face.

"That....sounds disturbing and unpleasant...Do you have to say it that way...." she mutters under her breath that it was looking more silent after a while. She wonders just what in the world this thing was like but she fears on how badly it was to make him this nervous. All Margret heard was him that they go ahead with heading to bed for now. Maybe he can get this time to rest up and recover.

They get a room after a while while looking to one another after some time. The both of them were already getting ready to rest up for the night but she only looks down at the window after a while that she was thinking a bit. Maybe with her trying to recover her own mind she can feel a bit more better after some time.

He coukdnt rest. He was busy doing obscure calculations of things that made no sense to her. Like the energy from a soul converted into monster plwer and added to ghe ammount that was already present and then somwthing abkut how much power it takes to move the body a d her bead went fuzzy. She knew he woukd stir up trouble and didnt stop him befuase she was dealing with her head.

The next morning she jolted awake put of a dream of a 6 headed snake with lizard legs chasing her and breathing fire at her. She turned over to see his bed andhe was in bed. She saw crude drawings of wht cpuld vagely be seen as strategy and when the sunlight hit hjs face he jolted awake.

"Looks lime its time... maggie.. if you dont want fight this thing i will understand... he said and she suddently rewlized he was offering tk let her sit out.

"No. We are in thjs together remember? Ill fight with you no matter how scary." She said and a pop in her ears filled her with a strength she thought she lost long ago. Apparently that was something she was supposed to remember and a faint idea came to her of him being the one she would give herself to. He had alot to prove to her before she made a final decision but he was someone she coukd find herself falling deeply inve with.

"As you wish. I warn you this thing ks fast and often uses two heads at once to attack. We wo t be abme to lop of any of its heads becAuse it will only beco.e that much mkre dsngerous and fast

"Besides, you make it sound like I can't handle this with you." she felt a little down thinking he was like that but Margret just looks down at the ground after a few minutes. She wonders just what he was thinking and the possible outcome of this fight would be. Maybe he was over thinking and wishes to fix that so he can prove she's safe with him.

"That's not what I was trying to say...I just don't want you to go through something like before. You know what I mean right?"

"...Yes but that shouldn't tell you I need to sit out of this. I..I know the mark acts up only if needed be. I want to get through this....even if I would have to give myself up just to help you." he quickly looks to her and looked a bit upset hearing that.

"How could you say that? You can't be..I mean it...I just want to help.."

"...O...oh." she worries when hearing him say that but this made her look worried. How in the world would andrew speak that way. He's a warrior and a hero so would this be something brand new to hear? She only shook her head looking down.

Bic: he was careful not to leave the room and it was hard to stay still he "im going to ask the innkeeper where they take their sacrifices thats probably the lair of orochi" he said and she nodded.

"How do you speak like they do?" She asks curious and a bit jealous.

"Its hard.. but i picked up a basic vocabulary in two languages when i got here. Being a farmer for profit you have to go where your harvest is nost valuable so yoi habe to sometimes learn a sifferent language."

"Oh... but they seem to not undestand you veey well." She commented

"Because i cant really pronounce it. Its kist somethinf i need to work on."

Maybe I could be wrong but that shouldn't stop you from working on it later on." she mutters in some silence but this makes her really wonder what is happening later on. She thinks about it in some time but that makes her think that Andrew really was over thinking on this or something else.

"Either way, I still will do my best in working on it. Maybe I was wrong but maybe not." she shrugs to look down after a while.

"Are you really planning on doing something like that. Thinking that will work..." She asked in a quiet tone that Andrew remains quiet. He looks down again wondering about this but he already was thinking about it. Maybe he was really wrong about it. Either way that was something else to work on.

"Or maybe I was wrong.." she mutters to herself.

"You are not wrong. So don't worry....you are just fine......so don't over worry about it...." he waves his hand but Margret was thinking about it again. She just looks down at the ground over thinking about it later on. Maybe she was over worrying about this in some way.

"Well, we should go ahead and see what we can learn for now....are you going to be.."

"Honestly; I don't know...I might be or I might not....Unsure right now."
