For now he said nothing like that because the rain was still coming down. The path grew muddy and they had to pull the covering of their wagon in a futile attempt to gain. Shelter

They just shelter under the covering for their wagon seeing the rain still coming down for that time. Magret and Andrew just remained silent listening to each drop of the rain that it made them wrap each other in blankets to stay warm since it did feel a bit chilly. She keeps her eyes out seeing the darkness with mist forming and the rain still pattering down.

To be honest, it was rather soothing to her and she closed her eyes to listen to each one. Andrew smiled seeing she liked the thought but keeps calm himself to enjoy this moment. They decided to enjoy their break till they had to move on once more.

Feeling her calm was truly refreshing. The rain got heavier as the wagon plodded along. The misty mountain loomed ahead dragons and demons ruled there and she was going back to the home of her birth where horrible things happened to her. The rain continued, helping her relax and she leans against him wrapped up in her blanket and breathing in his scent. He wasn't going to give up on his quest and he wasn't going to let her stay down. If he had to he would fight alone and let her sit by and watch.

He was nervous about coming here. This place held bad memories for her and he didn't want her to feel like she was a burden to him. He pressed on and the rain grew heavier forcing them to stop and set up camp until it cleared up.

"The rain lasts for a week here. We won't be going any further." She said softly as he stops the wagon she knew what he was thinking and he grunted in confirmation. He knew they would be okay for now and nature was just being herself. He relaxed instantly and that made her feel warm and fuzzy inside. Something she said helped him feel better. "It seems that's fine to stay here after a while. However, how did you.." he started to say but she looks down remembering the ways back then. For now, she only looks down shutting her eyes. Trying to forget the memory but sees it clear as day. Seeing the two men that laughed towards her pitiful expression on her face. They only remain silent to look out at the rain still coming down but they only remain silent savoring the moment of being calm minutes later. by the third day her sleep seemed unnatural. She still hadn't woken up but that was starting to worry him the rain hadn't let up but she hadn't moved or spoken. She just sleeps. He decided to not worry until the rain let up until she suddenly woke up. Shelooked around for him since he wasn't next to her then she crawled over and snuggles close. "...You should have gone to sleep. You know you will be tired for a while n..now. Here, if you get some sleep I can stay awake till you get some sleep-"

"No, I can't. I don't want to risk something coming here to hurt you. You needed rest and the rain seems to have kept you resting for a long time. I couldn't risk it.." he mutters but she only remains quiet seeing him not say anything else. For now, he sees that she was looking more sad now. Maggie wanted him to rest up now but it leaves her shifting from him and had Andrew lay down.

"I don't need to-"

"Yes you do. I won't have anything happening to you so please. Just rest for a while and I'll be fine. She didn't want him to get even worse because of her and yet it leaves her feeling like this was all her fault. He just only remains quiet seeing her eating her food but made sure he didn't sit up by any means.

"Go to sleep Andrew. I won't let you get worse so please sleep. I'll be here." she whispered eating more that he only sighed covering his face. He didn't want to rest due to whatever is here but from seeing how quiet it was, nothing came out during the time he was awake. Through the morning and night time that could mean something else right?

"As I said, get some sleep and I'll keep watch over you. It's fine....I'll be awake for now...till you rest and we can move on." She mutters eating more of the food he left her. He didn't know what to say but lets out a sigh.

He fell asleep. It was a tortured dream but his face showed no signs. To her he slept like an angel and was very precious to her. She keeps her word and keeps her guard up. For now, it leaves her in question about what to do and what not. However, that leaves her feeling more curious towards it. Maybe she will see him awake fresh and new to leave this place. For now, that makes her remain more quiet after some time.

Holding her weapon, she remained on guard just in case.

Her eyes keep looking at the darkness that looms over this former home but sees a couple eyes glaring out from that darkness. She tenses up seeing it, seeing them gazing upon her in a hungry site. That look in their eyes made her squirm but looks away still keeping her weapon close. She wouldn't lose to them again without trying to kidnap her. She will do her best to fight back if possible because she wanted Andrew to get enough sleep as possible. Nothing would change that from her line of sight.

"................." Maggie sighed slow feeling the colder rain coming down but she looks down keeping the blanket on her but did her best to keep warm. Seeing her already feeling cold, she only rubs herself with both hands to get some warmth from that. She will keep safe and remain on guard till he woke up from his rest.

she saw he rolled over and the glowing eyes creep closer. It wasn't just a weakling either she knew it was old and powerful but not on the level of a leader in the dark forces. She waited. She had to if she went out it would leave him vulnerable. She waited and knew she could burn jd with the hellfires her magic flames could summon to attack her foes. She wonders how strong the thing was and if she could beat it fast or not.

The eyes blink and were suddenly much closer with the huge shape of her worst memory looming in in her.

She tenses up seeing the image forming right in front of her but she shook it off, trying to ignore it. This wouldn't prove anything to her and she only wishes to try fighting it off. This was old memories nothing more. Maggie went on with her life even with the hunger of wishing to get it out. That same burning sensation came back when gazing upon the eyes again. Those hungry stares looking at her that she quickly shuts her eyes to hold her hand out casting the spell. The fire blooms out around them in protection hearing a pained screech when seeing it's burning light.

"....................." She didn't move nor say a thing watching it but she sees it now forming shape of a human male with dark features knowing he gave himself up to the darkness. He was standing outside the ring gazing upon Maggie like prey. His glowing eyes hungrily looking at her with a lick of his lips. He sees her nervous but her eyes widen seeing him fully nude stroking his hard cock for her.

She knew his face being one of the dark one's knights that had bought her for himself to use for however he wanted. Another that tried to clam her but didn't till the next time. He was hard wanting to destroy her as she shook gripping her sword glaring back. She wouldn't be tricked again; not again. he was different now. As the ring begins to fizzle and part in the rain she sees that he had become a simple monster. He was humanoid and larger. Than normal the hand that stroked his cock was clawed and knurled. He looked at her greedily having sold his humanity for power. The circle of flames did t go out and he couldn't cross them. It wasn't just a memory. It was a monster who caught her scent and had been following her. It lunged heedless of the flames lost in its desire to have her at last.

She tenses up holding her blade as Maggie got ready to fight but the flames burns what it touched. It roars out from the pain but she dodges as it runs after her. She gets out from the flames holding her sword at it but the hungry look in it's eyes burns a hole through her. Magret only glares to get ready to fight as it draws closer. She dodges a swipe of it's claws to her skin as she fights it off. She tries using magic to burn it away but it only keeps getting closer trying to catch her.

"Get away from me foul beast!" she held out her hand blasting two fire balls of light towards it as the monster dodges but gets singed with one. It growls loving this aggressive feeling that it still tries attacking her. She ducks and swipes her blade to cut into it's chest seeing the blood spill. This only made it try attacking as she fights back.

She strikes every opening and soon she noticed it was leaving openings without caring if it got hurt. And she saw that when it turns to find her it healed. It pressed the attack getting closer and closer to forcing her to make an opening.

Shw was onto the tricks as she ducked parried and slashed . She twisted using ice magic only to have the thing slip in between her body and her weapon. TOO CLOSE screamed in her thoughts and shw instinctively backed away tripping on a rock and falling back.

The monster was on her in an Instant taking advantage of her distraction. It only managed to rip her armor off before she used her hero powers to summon a bolt of lightening fro.t he rain-soaked heavens. The leading edge flashed and returned to the sky forking out as it did and she saw the thing take the hit and get sent flying.

Shw stood up with her top that she wore under her armor ravaged and her bottoms barely holding on. Her hair was crackling but she was unhurt. The thing turned and healed itself letting her prepare the hellfire spell she learned. It was designed for one opponent. She gathered her power and fired the shot. It hit and burned away half of the creatures life. Her biggest shot wasn't enough to finish it off but its power was effected. In enough time she could finish it but not before it had its way with her.

He was sleeping as she said and her efforts made the wagon undetectable as she slashed at the raining claws of the beast that was trying to calm her for itself. She was getting tired fast and she knew it was just too much but she keeps fighting making it suffer for every bit of her strength she used to hold it off. She wished he would wake up and stop sleeping like a doofus and just help her but he couldnt.

All she did was do her best in order to destroy it forever but knowing how tired Andrew was only made her sigh. Seems like she will do her best in making sure things go better for them. Looking down, the rain didn't stop but only came down stronger that she looks up feeling each drop that soaked her through. Turning around, she goes ahead and tries to dry up while rubbing her arms. She sit down beside him with no words that she only begins to think of what to do now. She used her fire ring again to keep as a barrier just in case.

Even if she couldn't remember the last half of the fight it wasn't so bad. Something was off. There was a weird wet noise that wasn't rain in her ears. Her body was also feeling weird like it wasn't where she thought it was. The second half of the fight did happen right?

Reality cracked. And she broke out of the confusion that was cast on her just I time to see the attacks coming at her to grab her. She cut them away and cursed her self for falling to such a simple trick. Angry she called the magic once more except the spell went haywire and used twice as much power a she intended.

The spell hits and turned the demon to ashes leaving nothing behind. Panting she grumbles about the change to her reality then settles down as she thought she had been. This time it was real. And this time she wasn't tired or burned out she felt victory inside. Sje really did protect them both and the camp by herself.

She leans on him and wraps herself in her blanket she wasn't going to tell him about what happened when he was sleeping. He didn't need to worry. She keeps her victory a secret and felt no more evil shadows following or circling them. The demon was alone and using illusions to scare them. It didn't work. She won and that was that.

For his own concern, she will not speak of this for now and leave it as is. Maggie didn't want him to worry about it and just move on for that time. Even after a while, she sees the rain still coming down from the sky as the smoky mist floats around the ground of her destroyed home land. Maybe in other times it will be fine and she can just live on with nothing else happening.

She had to keep steady and remain strong without having other things happening to her. Maggie just keeps silent till seeing the rain going on for that time moment. The night went on for a while till she goes ahead to see the morning sun rise up. It's rays shining down on her old home to show he destruction once more with a worrying thought. She didn't want anything else to happen again and this leaves her in a panic thinking of seeing such a thing. This home was gone forever and this leaves her in some panic.

For now, she only sighs keeping everything calm that she begins using her magic to go ahead with packing everything up for now. She didn't want other things to cause a problem and it leaves her silent. She already had things put away but sees that Andrew slowly awoken to hold his head feeling the sun shine on him. She already was finished with everything that he started going ahead with stretching from the though.

She was silent for now and it leaves her already working with trying to keep herself calm throughout this thought. "................" He sees her already working to finish up patting the horses that wouldn't freak out after some time. However, she already was getting them attached to the cart and started getting ready to start working with that. For now, she already got herself ready to go and started leaving this cursed place of a hometown. She didn't see him already awake but goes on with seeing the horses leaving.

"Maggie?" He didn't say anything after a while but that leaves him remaining quiet for so long. Maybe in another point of view he only keeps quiet. She just keeps seeing the horses pulling the cart while looking ahead not saying much from what is happening. For now, it leaves her already in a panic wanting to just leave this place and get away from her old home town.

"Maggie?" he tries getting her attention but she didn't answer him looking ahead trying to get away from her old home.

he was still trying to get close to talk to her but she keeps in front pushing futher and furghter away going faster until she was practically going full speed and leaving him int he dust. he didnt like that because he wasnt sure if she was okay or not.

she went to a nearby grove she knew and he followed keeping up only barely. when he got inside she had set up camp again. she had pushed nearly 20 miles out of him that day and the settign sun was coming. she curled up in her blankets and turned away fom him saying nothing and only needing to rest for the night. he lay near her but noticed she put his sleeping bag on the other side of the fire from her.

he guessed she didnt want him near but that wasnt true. this tainted area made her want him in very heated desire and she didnt want to bother him with her urges. he couldnt see her through the fire but shew as going at it hard but quiet wanting to ease ehr feelings at tleast for the tiem being.

her dreams must have been rough and when he woke up he started to take down the camp. the noise woke her and she rested thikning too much and not looking at him at all. she was thankful that he was still with her even if she was leadign him away from thair goal. she wanted to get as far away as possible and to hide in some quiet place and live with her love.

he was focused on fighting the demon lord and his forces making this life she wanted not possible for the moment. so she compromised by travelling with him and staying with him. it was good enough but the recent encounters were dangeorus. they were fortunate to be strogner than most monsters and demons they have come across.
