"This isnt going to be easy... i have a feeling that things are going to get dark." Said samuel as he stared where the faries were before they vanished. He didnt like faries veey much. They always lead him off his path and then never take him back. Then she realized they werent anywhere in the same woods.

"Their has to be another way for us to plan this carefully without getting lost." He mutters but Rachel clears her throat to get his attention.

"Ummm Samuel? I think you spoke too soon." she mutters to him seeing that they were lost or in another location. He looks around unsure till noticing she was right. They were not in the same woods but in a different location that seems to have proven his statement.

"God damn it. Now what?"

"We will have to figure something out and try to work on it as soon as possible. We shouldn't be out in the open when we don't know where or what is going on." Greg said to Rachel mostly but she was thinking to herself trying to wonder how or what they should do.

"Maybe we can find another path that leads to somewhere. Just a safe precaution."

"That could work..." Samuel mutters under his breath.

she was wanting shelter and he didn't blame her. so he changes his path and takes theem downhill. thye weave around the trees following the gametrails and she noted that greg was out in the open again. hhe was eyeing them both and he had a look of an imp on his face. it wasn't long before they came to a tree beside a creek so large that it roots provided a perfect alcove for them. he looked shocked to see it and jumped down into the creekbed. greg followed and together they scouted the area. the dark trees were calm and peacevul. the creek looked lower than in normally should be and there were no night creatures around except greg.

He called to her to let herknow it was safe while Samuel set up th camp. Rachel was feeling better now that they weren't on the move and this shelter was very natury vines draped down forming a curtain pefect for a private area. she could bathe and rest here to her liking.

they needed to find a way that wasn't so dangerous and greg pointed out that because of samuels bloodline the night creatures are drawn to him to kill him out of racial preservation. she rubbed her feet and her eyes fell on Samuel and she grew heated again. once again she told herself no that she was going to wait till she was older but ever week it was harder to keep the heat from pushing her thoughts to heated romantic chances with Samuel.

greg thought her resistence was amusing he believed she should just follow her instincts and take what she desired. his influence due to their bond was making her true feelings grew in strength. she was stable and he marveled at her willpower. he guessed her magical potentiol is extremely high for a human and she may be able to learn any spell from any grimoire or scroll or spellbook. she seemed to devour books and her luggage was books.

For the time being, all three of them rested up while she was taking a hot bath to help sooth her soul and body. It's been way too long and she was relaxing thanks to it. She even was reading a book she brought with her but using magic to have it float in front of her while she reads. A book her mother gave her during the first years of her training. Knowing everything you can is better without understanding the real history towards it.

She already was half way through the book but was humming to herself after some time. In the other room, Samuel was fixing food for him and her but sees Greg keeping an eye out while he sits near the window. This place wasn't too bad and it seems like a good place for protection. He knew Rachel was really special but he wasn't sure how Samuel would see her.

This only makes them look at one another before Samuel took notice to his gaze. "Is their something wrong, Greg? Your just gazing at me like you wish to-"

"Eat you? No. I rather keep my guard and do my best in serving mistress." he looks away from his sight but thinks about Rachel again. Samuel didn't respond to that but looks ahead after a bit.

"hes just taking your measure. vampires always do that. its like agame. the stronger the one they analyze the greater the amusement they get in interacting with them." Samuel said and greg was surprised. knowledge of vampire behavioural habits were close guarded secrets and ojly vampires and thralls knew the subtleties of vampire bodylanguage.

"as the Belmont says im merely taking stock in my duties and my responsibilities. you are a very capable master and im sure you could learn much from me as well to help you of course." greg said and he was genuine. that surprised Samuel and he relaxed aroung greg more.

"Oh? You think so?" he asked seeing Greg give a slight nod. During his times being human, he did give others a chance to learn and grow. Even if they were of different blood. Her figures why not? Knowing how he was tends to leave the vampire curious of what he knows and will want to know.

the first thing he asked her was why she was resisting her romantic attraction to her betrothed. after all anything can happen in the dangerous world so life was short. so why didn't she just enjoy her romance with him while she had the chance. of course this was a hot question to ask and she blushed badly. true they were betrothed and that was something special so why didn't she decide to have their romanvce grow.

"As I said, we are only 16. Were not old enough to known stuff like that remember?" She grumbles with arms crossed. That and because she didn't want to sound like a weird freak. Knowing the outcome of things can lead to something else. She didn't want to bring any problems between them. It was already weird because of the vampire asking her such questions.

"You shouldn't hide such things you know. I understand you are nervous towards it but that isn't healthy-"

"Zip it vampire. You don't know the action towards it or my feelings. As I said, I'm only 16. Maybe if I get older, I'll learn and open up. For now....I'm not old enough...so stop trying to bring it up or I'll jinx you both." The warning in her tone got Samuel and Greg looking at her but didn't say a thing after a bit. She only sighed to snap her book shut and leave to get away from them.

All the questions was really annoying her. If she wanted to, she'll open up but not right now.

greg was satisfied with that answer and he looked at Samuel. Samuel was listening but he was working at the same time . he was willing to wait because he loved her and that was good enough for him. she pouted and flushed her cheeks definitely wanting the topic to be dropped and greg never netioned it again. that camp was quiet. the trickle of water made a decent bath for her and she set magical traps not trusting greg. she trusted Samuel.

Samuel went off to explore and scout ahead while she bathed. she washed herself clean and knew that the rest of the year was goingf to be dangerous. mosnters were gathering where they were ehading. and she knew Samuel was going ot be okay because he was strong and careful. she was curious if she would find any scrolls or magic books and what sort they would be. she was also thinking about her magic and whether or not she could make spells.

"...*Sighs*" She hopes during this time, things will be better and grow. Maybe in time, her spells will grow and develop over time and who knows, when she's older her magic will grow as well. For now, she just finishes with washing up and begins to relax.

When Samuel returned she was dressed and reading again.

"looks like a few packs of different creatures are around. maybe within a few days of here. if we go east we should be in the touwn in a month. they faires saved us a lot of time." he said and that was some good news. it meant that the night creatures lost their head start to the town.

"At least this means we'll be able to progress." She was happy for that and it leaves her feeling more pumped for it. She wonders how in the world this will work with everything and knowing the outcomes of it. She hopes that they will pull through it. Her eyes saw Samuel happy but looks down into her book reading a old spell. Greg didn't come out due to resting up but he will be up and about when night falls.

the night creatures they encounter were weak wandering zombies or lone starved werewolves too weak to pose a threat. Their path traveled like this through the rainy season where leaves fall and winds howl. Through that time they grew much closer. Closer than when they lived together in his home studying their trade.

By the beginning of winter and the first frost she could ignore either because ebeing with uin was a burning fire. She used it to fuel her spells and she knew it was her wish and desire to be his wife one day. One day. Not soon. But the time was getting closer. He didn't ask or make any romantic move son her and gregarious did try several times to trip or trap them into a compromising position.

Each one made her heat flare up and she almost kissed him or snapped going red and passi g out. He was too focused on getting them loose he couldn't think about romance. And when they travel he was always keeping his wits peeled for night creatures.

Slowly they drew nearer and by the beginning of winter they mad either to the village they had been traveling g to.

As the winds blew hard, they just keep traveling trying to get past the cold but it was getting too cold to move. Now, it came to the point where it's too dangerous now. She already was seeing him moving along but stops seeing the magic compass she made showing the way was due north still. She rubs her arms trying to use her heat spell to give some warmth while her fingers still was curled up.

"You think were close?" she asked.

"I think we are. Just need to keep moving on...for the moment though.." he looks out still seeing more wind before seeing some lights ahead. Both Rachel and Samuel look at one another then ahead. It was the village. They quickly hurry down the path towards it as the winds grew stronger and stronger.

He slipped back down the embankment after seeing the village and dug a camp out of the snow and dirt. The village wasn't safe and there was enough falling snow to form a barrier after they were set up.

She followed and changed to a fire spell to dry and heat the ground as the dirt he dug formed a thin wa that caught the snow forming a barrier from the wind and trapping the heat with them.

A few minutes later he sealed them into a hasty igloo and made sure it had a vent for the heat and air and it wasn't noticed. She maintained the spell drying out the space and smoothing out the walls as they melt and refreeze. Then she kicked over a bundle of wood and set the pile in fire so she could rest her magic.

She sighed seeing the fire burning the wood good and strong, seeing that the flames were already good. Rachel takes a seat near the fire holding her hands out to it seeing a blanket to hold it around her shoulders. That didn't seem much right now but she was alright with this progress so far. Maybe she was wrong about it but that is just fine. This was just a small stop so it's just fine.

"................."

Samuel was already working on making sure things were alright for them when traveling again but he sees her watching the flames dance in front of her eyes thanks to her magic blending into it. This was soothing to her he guesses but he didn't say anything about it. He begins making sure things were fixed up so he sits down by the fire as well seeing everything heating up around them. Even the barrier was keeping the warmth inside.

"*Rubbing her hands to keep them warm*"

"...You alright Rachel?" she looks over hearing his voice but only remains quiet to nod her head.

"I'm fine...."

"We can continue when gregorio wakes up we will need him. " he said and she nodded it was okay to stop until he woke up then co tinue into the town. She felt the mixed powers of nightcrwatures lurking in and around the town.

She was not expecting the monsters to be roaming in the area but this leaves her worried about it. Knowing the possible outcome of things will make her think things will just become more curious. She didn't get how nightcrawlers near by. This made her look down again wondering what was happening. She thinks about greg till seeing him waking up once more.

Rachel only remains quiet seeing the vampire that he was already ready to do night guard. "Well, lets just go ahead with what we need to do after heating up for a while." he said seeing Rachel let out a sigh keeping her hands out near the fire.

"Nice of you to join us, Greg." he smiled.

"But of course.." he bows but she still kept near the fire.

things are different this time boy-oh *he lapsed into a brogue that absolutely infuriated glorious every single time. * we be gonna attack this here group of monsters and liberate the village." Grgorio had come to expect this behavior from him and noticed the brogue was leftover from his childhood upbringing so was a force of habit not intentional.

"Indeed wherefore shouldest we assault the establishment in such a way that the citizenry doth not perish from the assault." The elegance was exaggerated deliberately just to spite Samuel. Samuel didn't react but as grgorio spoke that flowery language made her blush and her mind melted. For some reason the speech reminded her of a heated moment between Samuel and herself where Samuel used flowery speech to propose marriage.

She didn't turn him down but she seemed to have no intersest to his offer of betrothal. She had later said she wasn't interested in boys and he had assumed she had said yes not knowing what betrothal was. And was prepared to possible release her from her promise.

She knew. Maybe. But now things were off topic.

"Greg meboyoh that be me speciality... so long as I'm not tossed into a building... my paln is simple. Lure them out after she warms up. This break was because she was too cold." He said and she looked at him. He stopped his pain for her. But she hadn't said anything about how cold she was. That made her blush that he noticed her and changed something to help her and discuss a plan.

"As we lure them out others will follow. Only the boss and a few higher underlings will stay inside one higher underling will come out and after we see that one and take it out we know only the strongest and fewest in number remain." He said and gregorio was surprised that he had a plan so well though out. The vampire even approved and looked to her to see if she had anything to add.

She didn't have anything really to add at the moment, thinking of what possible answer she could give. From the record, true she's cold but she's fine. Rachel wanted to keep doing her best in order to fix it in a matter of minutes. Maybe working to go along with something to keep them moving ahead?

Gregorio and Samuel discuss strategy and she said nothing not listening. Until it was time for them to go. Samuel knew she would do fine and gregorio would protect her so he didn't have to worry.

This one night he could fight as if he was not protecting someone. That thought was dangerous because he would forget about her desire to protect him.

They leave and hide the camp setting out to the village. Some of the things she thought about how to protect him were knocking the monsters away from him or finishing them off before the got him. And that made her blush happily.

One of the people slowly was dragged from their home screaming as they approach and ignoring the vampire both Samuel and Rachel forget any plan and rush to save the villager.

This proved to be a good lure so as the leave gregorio put a spell on them both to pull them out of the village after they attracted the attention of the creatures.

Both George and Samuel keeps the monsters focus on them while seeing them still going ahead but that leaves them fighting the monsters. They started slaying and destroying the monsters while Rachel did the same thing using her spells on a couple. She goes ahead with firing spells and keeping them away just in case things get out of hand. She threw a few fire balls at the monsters as they begin to try tackling her but she fires two lightning spells to see them get shot away into a pile that exploded.

Samuel and George blinks seeing that before two vampires tried to tackle them but got hit away by lightning. "Are you guys alright? Stay focused!" she said.

They were focused and they split apart to round up more. When they returned she gasps. The sheer number of them was too many to count in the high tension but her best guess was 3-5 dozen just as they were overwhelmed the spell activated

In a flash of blood magic grgorios spell telephoned them to the road outside ethe village. The creaturse could still see them and rushed dthat way. They were far enough away from the mob to give her time to prepare a massive spell. She flashed a glance at gregorio and guessed he planned that.

He unleashed hellfire:chaos bolt a molten ball of hellish flame that crackled with black fire with red and orange veins the spell surged through the mob weakening them and searing their flesh to slow healing. It used an immense level of power and he was tired from it.

That was when Samuel surprised them both. "I'll be your wall. I'm assuming that was what the spell as for just now greg." He said facing the mob and the vampire smiles and nods.

"Indeed how observant of you for a blind pig." There was no hint of malic only mirth in the vampires expression. He laughed and Samuel readies his whip. She was charging her spell and watched bound as the rushing energy requires her focus.

"I'm not perfect like you so if one gets by me kill it." Samuel said and the vampire laughed again. Doubling over.

" Very well Belmont show her your full skills. I'm sure my magic appeals to her more." And Samuel rushed alone headlong into the massive mob. She thought he was crazy but she had to maintain the encantation or the spell would fail. Before he leaves earshot she hears that song he used to sing. It mad ehis voice somehow smooth out and become controlled making the whips glow.

He flashed as he swung the whips slowly and they glow brighter as he hums the tune. He walked slowly as the blur moved closer at speeds that blur motion. He pulled back his glowing whips and lashed the first blur burning it to ashes then like her lightening spell he twisted and lashed another and he turned again lashing the other immolating the creature and exploding every cell.

Each lash was a dead monster if it was weak a moment to escape of it was a strong one. These he lashed once when the get close to jump away and hit another. Each lash was testing the strength levels and soon all the weakest were gone and the strongest were grouping around him.

Greg used a weak hellfire that finished off the weakest wounded allowing Samuel to focuse on evading and lashing. Her spell was almost done and she was focusing the effects on the creatures to miss him. It was hard to do

The magic grew stronger and stronger after a while, looking ahead as it was glowing with power and strength. It leaves Rachel feeling it growing but she wonders if it's not strong enough. It had to do better in getting stronger that she had to try something. Without them seeing, she whispered a soft tone to the magic orb before it glows a light blue as it's strength and mass becomes three times as powerful.

For now, she only feels most of her magic get drained. The spell was called Power of Oris. A old spell her mother taught her that is able to increase the power of a spell. However, it has to get more power by using her own magic aura. She only keeps it to herself seeing Samuel and George fighting the army before her magic spell grew around her that she feels it become stronger and stronger. Seconds later, she quickly feels it finish up.

"It's done! Hey, get out of the way!" She cries out seeing Samuel and George quickly jump out the way seeing the giant ball floating in front of her. The undead, monsters, and vampires quickly rush to her but Rachel glares seeing her eyes glowing with her magic too. "Begone monsters! Arisha Amora!" she fires the orb towards them that she sees it quickly rush over to crash in front of them.

A giant explosion was heard from the area as Samuel and George looked in shock seeing the power that she had. What of the attack and spell did she use?! Seconds later, they see her panting heavily because of it. Minutes later, she panted from the over use of magic that she was already seeing the dust blowing.

"..Did she-"

"Rachel.."

She panted lowering her hands to see her smile. Rachel did it. She's stopped them! Maybe now she will be just fine. They were happy that she was powerful enough to do that but without noticing, one ghoul monster was closing in on her as she was tired and weak from the over spell. Samuel was heading over with George but he tenses up smelling something.

"!!! Mistress, watch out!"

She blinks quickly turning but gasps feeling some pain in her lower stomach. Her eyes looks down seeing a black blade inside of her stomach as blood was coughed up from her mouth. That's when a swarm of ghoul monsters came out tackling her and started scratching and biting her. Both George and Samuel screams rushing over to help her.

There was a blast of raw force as he lashed the crowed and blew most of them off her. Greg arrived at her side first now the path was clear and used his power to finish them off and stop her bleeding. He wasn't worried because ehe knew he could fix her but he knew she was in alot of pain.

She coughed and fought thinking hse was still under attack and gregorio carefully bound her tight to keep her still. He worked fast faster than any human and she felt his power flooding her body. The ghouls were charging her again sensing her hidden potential and another wave of raw force blocked them.

Samuel stood as the barrier between greg rachel and the remaining ghouls. Their intent was singular as if something had seized them and was using them. But that was nonsense. They reacted to her power and now all the monsters were on their way not just the ghouls. He charged lashing his whips and releasing his pent up strength.

Greg who wasn't worried or scared for her safety or the danger of the ghouls and other creatures also showed fear. Samuel was using the Belmont blood in his veins and their legendary power. He didn't glow or vibrate or show power in any way until his whips cracked or hit a target. Then the target would explode or the air would blast a wall of force at the group. Zombies and wolves were mixed in now. The look on his face was grim and set.

As gtegorio repaird the damage to her body he was careful to not leave any traces and used surgery on a cellular level to repair her using her blood to make the cells he needed. She felt like her insides were in fire and mixing as her body was being restored.
