"Maybe because.. I really appreciate what you did. And I don't knkw how to thank you..." he was honest about it and it did seem to cause him much thought and effort.

"Thank me? Oh, you don't have to thank me. I just wanted to help you. It's what would anyone would do right?" She smiled sweetly to Samuel that he felt his face heat up. Blushing heavily from how gentle her voice was left him still being quiet. However, he only remains silent looking down.

"I understand. I guess I still want to thank you for this."

Rachel smiled thinking he was so sweet that she touches his hand to kiss his cheek. "I'm alright with whatever you wish or how to thank me. I'll accept it either way."

"Careful... i might take you up on that... anything... you dropped." His voice had a different tone one that send shivers of pleasure through her body and due to having pulled a great deal of his energy out of him she knew where his mind went with that. He warned her because he didn't want to cross the line she drew. A line she may think about removing as time passes and his health improves.

"Oh, it's no worries Samuel. Now, when I mean it I mean it. Just let me know alright. I do wish to thank you in some way...no matter what." she smiled looking at him that his face burned red again hearing her words. She seriously was hitting his heart that he remains calm moments later. He shook his had and begins eating again while she did the same. If she means it then...no, that would be something else. For now, he keeps it to himself.

"If you're serious... then let's not wait for formalities. I-if you want me... physically.. its fine." It took him alot to say it and he did his best to be polite about it. The fact of the matter was he just solicited her for romance. Of course he was only telling her what she knew he was thinking and apparently he took her words to include romance as well.

She blinks hearing that but her face was heated up again hearing this. Samuel was alright with that?!? Rachel looks down at her food but decided to stay calm after a moment. She didn't want to be a bother and decided to relax and just eat her food like he did. Samuel was still flushed but said nothing during this time. They were shy so it's noticed.

Listen, if you don't want to you can say so... but I would like to and I'm not joking." He said and slowly went over to help her finish. He wasn't in her way but sje wasn't used to getting help around the kitchen and the topic of discussion was very embarrassing for the both of them to admit.

He tries to hide his laughs when they bump and reach for the same bowl or tool and she let him hand her what she needed. He wasn't a bad cook he just wasn't patient with cooking. Having help was something he wasn't used to either and this whole adventure they had been helping eachother

"I-I never said I wasn't. I just didn't expect you to say that. She just looks down at the bowl and begins working on the food. Even if Samuel was a good cook himself, they never really got others to help them. They would do it themselves but this is a nice change. She only closes her eyes that she felt her cheeks heat him.

"Though to be honest, Samuel. I wouldn't mind that either. I guess..I was scared you think I might be a creep because of it." she said.

"Huh? But your not a creep, Rachel. Why say that?" he said.

"....Due to what has happened a while ago......and well on how I am? I'm a little older than you s-so....won't it be weird?" she asked since she knew he was aging too but it's different and she thought it's not fair.

He held his head hearing he rethought almost and he grimaced. "I'm not really aging... I was aged... that thing "ripens" younger victims and "regresses" older ones. It makes their food taste better before they umm...." he stopped. "You okay?"

Talking about it made her heat flare and her memories of how good she felt rushed through her head. "I'm fine. Just haa its still potent and with your energy i... umm" she stopped if she continued would he think she was weird?

"And? You can tell me stuff I won't think you are weird. " he said and she took a deep breath to collect herself.

"Well... your energy is nothing like anything I've felt and since I like it I umm... get heated like in the cave." She finished and he took her hand in his.

"Thats good to hear I thought it hurt you." That made her start.

"No no you didn't it just.. felt so good I couldn't stay awake... if anything I wanted you to do things to me... like those monsters did..." she went quiet at the end but he hears her clearly.

He watched her and helped finish before setting the plates. "Next time you feel those feelings.. it would be okay to talk about it then." He said

"In the meantime let's set the table I'm sure we will be okay. Both our guards are keeping us safe. " she said and turned off the burners

"Yeah, I'm glad to know." she was happy about that but remains calm while going ahead with what they needed to do. It leaves her thinking about the moment in the cave but it was a while ago. She didn't say anything as they both sat down and begins eating their dinner. They were still remaining quiet for the time being and it leaves the two happily just eating together.

she watched him eat like no tomorrow and he did eventually slow down but only 2h3n his initial hunger was quieted. He was ravenous from the effects of the night before and she ate very little still completely sated by his energy. She could always devour more of his energy but she knew he would tell her when he needed her to. She began to think of how she would do it next time he flares up when he sighs contentedly and pats hjs belly. "Ahh good meal. I think I'm going to take it easy for a while atheist until this energy thing is sorted out. "

She nodded and said nothing still engrossed in her own thing.

She watches Samuel leave the kitchen as Rachel remains there. she was still eating her breakfast but her eyes were still focused on the ground thinking about something in due time. Maybe in another way he will be just fine or later on. He wanted to be sure she was alright but so did she.

he explored the manor refamiliarizing himself with the layout and eventually he found his way into the library. It was just as she left it and he was pleased to see that her mountain of finished books was still teetering on thebrink of collapse.

He went down to the vault and examined the artifacts and basically explored everything again. There was so much to see down here and he was certain not all of it was on the ledger at the entrance. The ledger was a catalogue of the inventory within the vault and did cover quite a bit. He flipped though it on his way out and noted it had detailed information about the artifacts that were in the vaults. Daye of acquisition location of acquisition who found it and what was discovered about it.

He started looking for information about the morning start and combat cross relics he found and nothing was in there. The combat cross was only one page and it was found by an alchemist the same one who made the relics to go with it and it held a mystery since they couldn't determine how old it was. He looked for the morning star and found alot of information on it. Everything she read before about what it did was there and a bit more. It was connected to the energy of the weirder it was a gift to the Belmont family to become a heirloom there was to his surprise a bond with an angel involved in the power meani g they were using its weapon.

He figures the power and the weapon were still going ahead with trying something else. However, it leaves one wondering about it. Was their more story towards it or was this something hidden in history. Samuel wanted to figure this out to see how to use both the weapon and controlling his energy. He knew Rachel would help him but he wasn't sure of the different effects towards it. Maybe it will be more dangerous and weaker or was it going to change her?

Samuel decided to do what he can to try figuring something out. Their had to be something he could use some information towards it in hopes of it working. Maybe he can feel something worth something. That made her think about it and maybe try to ask her for help towards it. "Hmmmmmmm..." Maybe their was more to this story than he thought.

Why are you coming to see me?" The angle asks him when Samuel went to discuss the implications of what he read.

"You gave the majority of your power to my family but your own weapon as well."

"I did."


"Why?" And the angel smirked to hear samuels question.

"Because I chose to." Samuel sighed and tried again

"What situation could be so bad that you would risk becoming fallen to give one family power? Shouldn't the Almighty be giving everyone power?" Samuel was worried and The angel laughed

"You are assuming that the Lord gave your family this power and you are wrong. It was my choice my risk and in accordance with the law."

"You didn't answer my question." And the angel became very serious.

"The creature you are hunting... all Belmont are hunting... is no mere fallen or vampire but the manifestation of chaos, your family was chosen to either follow the same path of order as each before or not to. Several Belmont have chosen not to your parents for example. They weren't raised here because their parents chose not to follow the path. You chose to and found this place and these powers. You are the vessel of order and my gift was given to you so long as you remain pure of heart so shall I."

"I understand. And this creature is no creature but a force ina vessel. And that is why things are so bad. Because the foe of chaos was idle... I accept but I have to say I'm not pure. Thank you for your faith in me." Samuel walked away from the angel with the weight of his responsibility holding him down. Not for long after it settled in he was back to normal. He went to tell her what she found and when she learned what the power was it explained why she couldn't get enough of it. It was infinite as long a she channeled it and of the puresest form of energy that there is. She wiped a line of drool from her mouth after hearing about the energy and when she hears the morning star was the weapon of the angel themselves it was a shock to her.

"Then.. what is the combat cross?" She asks

"Its a man-made weapon utilizing alchemy and holy rituals to make it more real to monsters. It can use all the relics we collected. And the one we need next is the vampirekilling stake. It was the last peice to complete ting the combat cross."

"Why not use the angels weapon I mean its so much better and its more useful" she asks and he smiles.

"Because it gives me an excuse to travel and right some wrongs. As well as having a weapon that doesn't rely on borrowed power but my own developed skills." She liked that it meant he wouldn't keep relying on the dangerous power as much. He would save it and that made her feel safer about his choices.

"Well, either way, this should work to help you a little better." she smiled seeing Samuel agreeing with her. With how things are going now, it could ease off for both of them and for her too. She wanted to be helpful for him either way.

Then she smelled it. He was suppressing his power and she could smell it leaking out. She bites her lip not wanting to scold him or offend him by saying something but he noticed and nodded.

"Yes... I'm starting to have trouble again." He said to her and she nodded knowing she needed to suck it out of him. She remembered how it felt and how potent it was and she hungers for it after tasting it once and she wanted to see of she could pull more out by trying different things.

"Then do you want me to take care of it here or in the vault?" She asks Stepping closer and lowering her voice and gaze. She was really acting shy now and sweetly took his hand in hers.

"I think the vault is made for it so let's go there." He suggested and she walked fairly quickly leading him on to the vault. She wanted to make sure his treatment was regular and so did he. He lay down where he lay before and she did her best to pull his energy out of him and I to her. She noticed that touching was effective for helping maybe more effective. She wished to think more about what that meant and this time there was no where near as much power flowing because he hadn't been spreading it more than a few minutes.

Once she pulled out the excess energy she pulled out the rest it didn't take as long but she reacted the same way. She was burning in desire inside and controlled he rethought so she wouldn't get distracted. She could tell he was having similar thoughts by how his energy tasted.

More full but stronger in her mind.

That was more different than the first time she absorbed his energy. Was this a sign or was this something else happening between them? Either way, she still focused on helping him since he would do the same for her too. They just kept on going while he relaxed feeling the extra energy being taken out of him and flows into her.

Something was happening between them. They were relying on eachother in a deeply personal way. She was literally saving his life and giving him a future. He was satisfying her urges to suck his energy out and her desire to help him. She took her time with it and started moving how her body felt. Aroused and wanting. He understood what that meant and blushed.

Hus blush made her blush more and she licks his neck alittle getting a strong surge of energy. That made her shiver and think maybe a kiss would be more effective than anything she tried yet. Sje wasn't going to this time but she did save it for next time filing it away in her mind for future reference.

He tenses up feeling the lick but he only feels her still absorbing more of his energy. Even if she did this, that leaves Rachel not saying a word from the thought. She just keeps on helping him as best as she can without harming or pulling too suddenly. She just keeps blushing from the expression he was giving but she shook her head, focusing on her task.

she finished quickly and savored every moment as she worked. He and she were both highly aroused and heated. When sje takes the last bit of excess energy.

"Maybe you should do it the way witches learned from a succubus." He suggested making her blush scarlet and bite her finger. He wasn't fair suggesting such a tempting thing and she shakes her head trying to say not yet because she was still very shy about that. He said it because it crossed his mind that if she used her place she could claim all she wanted. But sje thought he meant her mouth on his part.

Maybe she would one time but sje had to work her way up to it and thinking about such things made kissing his lips to take the energy less crazy and easier to perform next time.

"W-well, I've read books about the stories on how succubus do such a thing. I hear witches used a spell to try something like that but I don't know if that still works." she grumbles looking down at her lap trying to think. She still thought he means with her mouth but she's never done that before. Or well, thought of such thing in her life till now.

"That could work or maybe another spell?" she was lost in thought that Samuel was a little confused now. He only remains silent thinking about it but she was really unsure about it. She sees her sit back giving him room to sit up and watch her.

However, for now, she would just finish up gathering his energy before finishing up. "There you go. How do you feel?" she asked.

"Better. The energy is much lower now than what it was. Thank you Rachel." he said smiling to her. He slowly stood up with her help as they leave the room chamber. The small bits of energy was disappearing now but small bolts of it remain in the room. She nor him noticed it as the door closes to the chamber. She decided to make him some food to gain his strength back.

Things were progressing at a steady pace which suited the immortals guarding them. She decided to read up about succubus and witches to see if her memory and ideas were accurate after she finishes preparing his meal. He went to help her but she was self sufficient and didn't need his help at the moment.

It truth she wanted to process the energy and feelings she was having mixing inside. He was content and feeli g much better and he roamed the house looking for things that needed to be repaired. His nose didn't let him ignore the meal she was cooking and she set the table and sat down waiting for him when she was done. Sje waited and 10 minutes later he showed up rubbing his nose.

"You always know how to get me by your side. I could smell this all the way in the broken wing" he said sitting down and getting a fork to eat.

"Why were you out there its dangerous." She said and he nodded.

"I'm thinking about fixing it so we have more room and I have something to do while these changes occur." And he tooka huge bite and started to chew.

"I see. Why tho? I mean.. we are going to leave after you are better and we won't be here for long periods of time. Won't it just get broken again?" And he thought about her question co sidering her words.

"Perhaps. We could spend a year or more inside of the castle dracule all by itself. So I see the point of your question. But wouldn't it be nice to come back after we survive and not have to do any major work and we could just live in peace?" He asks softly really thinking that they both stood a chance.

"Hmmmmm; that is true. Coming back here after all of that is rather nice to relax." she mutters thinking about it that she was smiling at the thought. However, it leads to them becoming closer than ever. This made her blush hard to clear her throat.

he gulped down a mug of water washing down his mouthful and went at his plate again. He ate fast and rarely chewed. He was focused on enjoying the meal and thinking about what sort of work needed to be done. He wasn't ignoring her or anything but he wasn't engaging conversation.
