"I..I don't understand.." she whispered seeing the angel look to her.

"A simple test to help you. I know it might seem as little but trust me. It should help you. Others have to learn as well even through something they are unsure of. A test of love and trust. If you love him and wish to help him then start now." he sees her looking silent touching her chest wanting to feel her heart.

"........"

"Either way, your test will begin sooner than you think young witch. He knows you care for him but you and his own limits will affect you. I know from seeing many fighting it. That shouldn't make you become a worry towards it my child. Think of it...and think of him." he said drinking some tea.

The spell was weak now. Or maybe her love for him was too much for the spell to hold back. The conversation had let her guard down and the test began. Right away the spell shattered unleashing all her pent up feelings.

She was ready for that and shivers as she blushed hot thinking of Samuel and the things she wanted to do to him. The angel sipped the tea as she shaking got up and starred to walk towards the basement. Her greatest desire was to help Samuel get through this alive and safe. That was the motivating force. The resisting force was her fear of hurting him

Then something changed. The overwhelming energy that was contained started to leak out that called to her as much as the moon. The power coming fro. Him could be drawn out and she could absorb all of it and still want more.

She keeps on walking being careful that her eyes were closed trying to calm herself down. Or at least her body. This shouldn't be happening and yet it leaves her weak and confused. For now, she opens her eyes when her feet stop seeing the underground vault. The energy was flowing through the cracks into the room. It was strong but she didn't expect it to be that powerful.

"....." She knew Samuel was in there trying to stable himself through it that she walks down slowly towards it. All she hoped for was him being alright and alive as well. The door was still closed seeping through some of the energy. However, she was worried after a while.

"........." What could she do? Should she go and see him? Should she find out if he's alright? The witch was nervous having her hand near the handle to it but she knew he was inside of there. Trying to withstand the pain that was flowing through him.

"..I..I don't know if I should. I don't know if...." she was hesitating now feeling her hand shaking.

While she was trying to decide George was building another barrier similar to the first but different enough to force any intruder to have to stop and analyze it. These barriers took alot of time to set up because they were complex and one thing left out and the barrier was useless. The rising power was contained within the grounds of the manor and with the first barrier in place it was hidden from sensitives. The second barrier was also meant to conceal energy and send any power bleeding out of the ancient home back to the source.

The angel was present the test wasn't plain. She knew it was something about her and Samuel but Rachel was sure there was more too it. She hesitated even more then hears the power humming and tinkling the room was old and the wards on it had grown flimsy over the decades. The door was shaking like a pressure cooker about to whistle.

Her hand was shaking seeing this but she was also worried as well. Seeing all this and hearing the door only worried her. She didn't want to bother him if it was going to cause an issue. Rachel wanted to be sure to help him but she didn't want to bother him during this process.

"............"

George was waiting for her when she rose to the surface and she was hugging her arm. She couldn't go through with it and already she was feeling heartbroken all over again. Her doubts were winning and she didn't know what to do. George knew she needed to be in top form for the fights ahead and knew that samuels health and well being effected her as well.

"Listen... rachel... you should help samuel."

"I thought you were enemies"

"Not while I'm bound to you. He is your friend and therefore he is to be preserved as much as you."

"Why do you care? Don't you want to steal me from him?"

"How can I steal you from him when you won't get close. As I suspect your plan is leading towards such ideas."

"So you are?"

"If I were, not saying I am, I would do it after you two were together then such a thing would actually be stealing you."

"I won't hurt him anymore."

"Hes dying." George was serious. He was not playing and he was not trying to lure her into a sense of security. Her wellbeing was suffering at the moment and he knew he had to help he ror her own powers would suffer.

"What?!?!"

"Thats what the angel was trying to tell you. The test is a bet on his life between the angel who is betting you will choose love and act like you are now. And a devil who is betting you will fall to my own predation. As for me I'm no pawn so I refuse to play my part in the bet making this all fall on you."

That worried her more Samuel was dying meaning that if she didn't help him his life and line would end and all of the world would be consumed by the night creatures. Even the witches would be forced to join the darkness or die. George was indeed a wild card. Sometimes he would be absolutely loyal and other times he would be selfish and try to seduce her.

All this may have been too much for her to hear but if it wasn't she couldn't just let Samuel die not after they survived so much. It just wouldn't be fair to let him die after so much time together.

George watched the conflict in her mind and watched as her unbound feelings wage war inside of her. She wanted to help him but she was so afraid she would ruin it. Then something George said hit her. The angel was putting its credibility on the line and it was in favor of her. It believed in her love because of how she was working so hard to do what she thought would help him. Even if she made mistakes it was fine because Samuel would always try to help her as long as he lived.

"....Samuel.."

"You have to help him or else you will lose him either way, Mistress. Please, do what you must but feel is right. He is your close companion and love of your life. I can sense that from him too so please. Don't over burden this for yourself my dear. Do what you must to help him.

"......" She looked quiet seeing this but that only made her worry even more about him. Biting the bottom of her lip, she looks calm to breath out. Knowing the possible pain was going to get worse if she didn't do anything.

"B-but how can I help him?" she asked.

Let your desire and your love for him bloom. Don't give him space if he needs it he will tell you. Absorb his energy through your body in the way you always resist. I believe your excuse was always you're too young." It was clear that she had never absorbed power in the ways that were being hinted at and the sheer amount of energy he was pouring out was calling to her deepest spot.

She had to do something and she could also help by healing damage his power causes. She could finally show him in her own way she bites her fingers now thinking about the naughty things she wanted as her mind wanders away from her fears for a moment just a moment.

"But how in the world could I do something like that for him? I don't-"

"Don't think. Just do it, Mistress. If you care and love him for everything he is, then prove it to him. Show him that he shouldn't have to be afraid anymore. Tell him you will always be there for him no matter what." She looks to George looking ahead once more seeing the door that stood in between her and Samuel.

He must have been hurting so much inside of there but she hopes she can figure something out for this. She slowly lets out a sigh, feeling her body trying to relax that she started to hold her hands up to try and absorb most of his energy into her at least to help him. She closed her eyes relaxing just a little that she was blushing even worse now. His energy was burning from so much but she remains calm seconds later.

"That's it mistress...just relax and just try to bond and connect. However, you'll have to find a way to bond and connect with him."

"But the doors are locked. I can't get inside.."

The more she tries to absorb the more she wants and the more she realizes this wasn't going to be enough. She needed to find a way to drain it faster. The door was never tried so she couldn't know if it was locked or not. Samuel was sealed in by his power but the door was never locked.

She knew that sje had to touch him be near him until this was done but she craved more and more of his energy it was a font of power she never knew could exist and she knew it was 9n so.e way toed to his love for her and she felt that keenly.

Taking a deep breath, she slowly walks over to the door seeing the energy flowing more heavily into the mansion. Rachel wanted to help him as much as possible without something harming him but she had to do something before losing him. With a sigh, she grips the handle and turns it. A click was heard while seeing it open up. She looks seeing the door but walks around and inside of it.

George sees her leave but remain quiet going back to work with the angle waiting for her to finish the task. She was inside the room looking around at the place. It was really beautiful from the design and outlook of it. The waves of energy flowing freely that it came from the center where she saw it was more heavy. She knew he was there to see him sitting on the ground twitching. His body was throbbing from the energy but he was soaked in sweat while remaining focused.

Taking a slow step, she walks over to him in worry while seeing him not facing her. She wanted to help him but reaches to sit down near him and touch his shoulder. Right away, the flow of energy was really heavy that she was shaking herself. It was a lot more than she thought it was but remains calm to get his attention.

"Rachel? What are you doing in here?" he asked.

"......I-I came to check on you. Are y-you alright?" she asked looking at him.

"I don't know... nothing prepared me for this. It was supposed to be easy." He said not moving away from her.

She explained everything to him and even admitted her secret desire to make love to him every day making him blush heavily and admit he felt the same. She pulled more out of him and her tears fell. This was too much and it was hurting them both.

"I'm so sorry. I never knew my own feelings would cause you to feel like this. I should have just kept silent and helped you and you are suffering because of me. That's why I'll be here with you till the very end. Just to be sure you don't leave me or pass out. I'll do my best to be sure you still remain here with me." she held him close as Samuel looks up at the ceiling that his hands were shaking feeling her hold him so close.

It was nice and warm even if the energy leaving his body was burning his skin. He just closed his eyes to savor this moment with her, feeling her even absorbing some of his energy while he was trying to relax his breathing.

"Ray."

"Shhhhh..I'm here. Just relax.." she whispered in his ear but he blushes from the feeling. However, he winces to grip her arm harshly as she held him close into her arms.

"No listen... I'm not upset because of you. I'm upset that I couldn't protect you. I'm sorry for not being born sooner to be with you and I just want to give you what you deserve." She hushed him again and kisses his head.

The contact send a massive surge of his energy Into her. Some of it shone through her hair and skin as she processed it. She only needed a few more to get used to how intense it was and she could see why the night creatures feared him. And why they wanted to devour him.

She winces again from the feeling but held him close as the power still flows through her and him together. Rachel didn't let go through but only keeps him as close as possible. She wanted him to be alright through this and have nothing harm him as it already has. She shook feeling him still holding her close as the power still surges through his body before he feels her tears hitting his head. She really hated to see him this hurt but couldn't say anything because of the feeling she went through just holding him.

Even her own magic was burning strong through her that she was seeing some of his energy flowing around her as it lifts some of her hair up around her.

he held on to her and she keeps the flow stable throughout his body. His body and hers process and adjust to the power and she shares in some part of it. It brings back painful memories she learned from and shaped who she was and reminded her of how they feel and of a possible future.

She found that her choices may not be as bad as other witches since she wanted to live in peace. Other witches wish to consume power and control others. Consume power... that was it. She could consume it. It was potent but as she got used to how intense it was she could absorb it into herself.

Even with most of his energy becoming stronger and stronger by the second, maybe it could help him. Without letting go, she held him tightly in her arms to start chanting something under her breath. Samuel didn't hear the words she whispered but slowly opens his eyes seeing that his energy was not flowing out all over but it begins coming down. It started circling her and him before she keeps holding him close that it starts sinking into her body from behind.

She winces from the power holding him that he felt her body shaking and burning thanks to it. What was she doing? He lifts his head to see her face scrunched up but didn't stop the chanting. "Rachel? what are you doing? Why is the energy-"

"I thought it could help...I'm going to try consuming as much as I can. To be sure you are alright, Samuel. I don't want you to get hurt anymore." she whispered holding him that he tries to stop her as the energy kept going into her steady and easy. She was actually absorbing his power to flow right into her body. It felt so strange and hot that she lets go of him glowing with her own magic.

"Rachel!!!" he sees her holding her hands to her chest still taking in as much as she could ignoring the new sensations flowing through her mind and body. However, his body wasn't hurting anymore and it just kept flowing his power still that it wasn't as wild or crazy. He looks at his own self feeling this but was worried about how much it effected Rachel.

She was still taking in or consuming his power just to help him. The chanting still kept escaping her lips as he was looking at her in worry and fear. He didn't want the energy to harm her but he knew it wasn't. It was just flowing inside of her to make this even with him.

"Ray.."

"*panting sweating slightly* I'm a-alright. I'm alright.." she whispered to him still taking in more. "This is n-nothing for me. I'll be sure your safe, Samuel."

"But your risking yourself to get hurt. You don't know what the energy could do to you."

"I know t-that but I won't r-risk losing you. I know I messed up but I don't want you t-to leave me....I can't bear it."

she seemed to be nearing her limit and he noticed his pain was dropping. She didn't seem to be in pain. If anything she looked completely aroused. She keeps chanting and focusing on what she was doing, Getting more and more heated as she did. He started to 4hink she was hurting herself but couldn't do anything.

She was taking in all the excess energy and then the flow stops and she falls on top of him. Panting flushed red-faced she clings to him not wanting to move away. Her chant was still coming out of her containing the energy within her body as it processes. For the rest of the day his energy was stable and she felt like she could do anything.

She panted with steam coming out of her mouth as she clings to him rubbing her body on him as she twists and turns from the energy coursing through her. He held her and she held him. She wasn't hurting like he was and he wasn't hurting anymore. His energy was stable for the rest of the day but as sje was told this was going to take months.

"I'm alright" she said to him again as he asks how she was doing.

"Thank you. I don't know what else to say." He sounded relieved and relaxed and she k ew he was also as heated as her.

"You don't need to say anything Samuel. I don't want you hurting." She presses up more against him holding him as he held her in a warm loving embrace.

"How did you figure it out?" He was curious and spoke in a question.

"Shhhh let's just enjoy this while it lasts" sje said softly she was exhausted mentally and knew it he keeps showing his care for her she might be tempted to do some naughty things.

"As you wish." He said and he was quiet.

For this time, they remain in the room while he held her gently in his arms. That made her relax even more within his arms as they wait fro the whole thing to calm her body down. In a few hours, they have left the room to see him carrying her in his arms while taking her somewhere to rest up.

he took her to her old room. She stayed i. While they loved and learned here. She didn't let him go. Even when he put her in her bed she wouldn't let go of his neck and he couldn't cover her up.

"Stay with me?" She asks softly and hugs tighter.

"Knowing the risks you want me to stay?" He meant possible things that she said no to before and she thought he meant his powers.

"The energy is gone for the night. No harm to me." He understood what she thought he meant and clears his throat.

"I-i meant possible outcomes from two young healthy people being alone together in the same bed." And she purred in his ear

"Mmmm that does sound like something lovely" she said nuzzling his neck. That made him gulp. He wasn't expecting her to tease him and she giggles letting him go.

"So tomorrow.. if it acts up again?" He asks hesitantly and she smiles.

"When it does ill suck it all out like today." Her grip slipped and she slowly went into a sleep. He stayed and covers her with the blankets before wishing her sweet dreams and going to his own room.

He walks out of the room to close the door slowly, not trying to become too loud. Rachel was tired true but he was truly happy to see her do this for him. Taking in most of his energy to help stable him. However, he was still worried about her. Knowing the side effects of his energy could lead to something different. He just hope she will be alright during this time.

He did notice the new protection barriers around the area to see that things were protected for now. Samuel even noticed that George was busy guarding the main doors just in case of something showing up. Though, nothing comes near this way so he should be just fine or all of them should be fine. He did walk off to head into his room, hoping Rachel would be alright but his face was burning from what she means a while ago. She really was tempting but he keeps himself calm to shake his head. Sleep was what he needed for now and that's what he is gonna get.

ooc:lol yes indeed he does need sleep and he can finally sleep deep for the first time since his power started to show itself shhh thats a secret from Rachel.

Bic: he got to bed and passed out and the manor begins to settle down. George patrols the border and is determined to keep then safe.

Her dreams were sweet hot and wet making her wake up heated and fuzzy headed. She enjoyed her dream and lays in bed until her head clears. Before getting dressed and going to make breakfast. The garden had grown wild and her spells to tame them were starting to wear off showing odd branches of wild growth on each plant but it wasn't un manageable. This meant that the plants were mostly the same as when they left and they were healthy. She collected her needs and went to clean them off and cook breakfast. Mostly fruit and vegetables but she found some dried meat and preserves. She was cooking when Samuel came in.

He was thoroughly tosseled and sleepy having slept deeply he didn't remember his dream but knew it was warm and fuzzy maybe he visited her in hjs dream but he didn't know. All he knew was he was hungry and he smelled food when she started to cook.

"Good morning."

"Good morning how did you sleep?"

"Like a rock. You?"

"Like a kitty" he laughs at that making her blush. He thought it was cute and funny and he sat down to help her cut the fruit and veggies. George swooped in and retreated from the sun by going to his own room. He said good morning to both of them but holds his head since the sun really gave him a headache after using so much power.

Samuel watches her between cutting and noted she seemed much happier and that made him feel less worried about her. There were some side effects g s and for now and even through later they were manageable. The dreams were the first sign. Her body was still calming down from her dream but her mind was her own and she wasn't distracted by her thoughts. She felt like she had a purpose and she was still useful to him and maybe that was more fulfilling to her than either of them knew.

The angel was still present taking care to limit their contact and influence as he monitored the situation. Everything was going as it expected and it had no concerns about them having faith 8n them. After all she somehow tamed a powerful vampire on accident. Or was it? Did she know something about gregorio and sought him out or was she reacting to the situation. It seemed there seemed to be more here than was apparent and the angel was curious to see how it unfolds.

bic:For now, she will work on other things to see if something else will help them during this time. Rachel just keeps cutting up everything before going ahead with starting to cook showing a smile. He sees her cooking breakfast for them while they were feeling happier now after some time. Maybe they will do some things later down the road but if his energy was acting up, she'll be able to help him.

".......So I take it your alright?"

"Of course.." she said looking to him while seeing Rachel nod. "I'm just working on clearing my head for some other possible moments. I might try to figure something else out during this time. Maybe think of a new plan for a moment." she was using her magic to bring some spices for the food."

he looks to see her relax while seeing him just eating moments however, Samuel hopes that she was really alright after a while.

he noticed she was putting in alot of spices and humming to herself. He watched her filling up bowls with chopped veggies and fruit and when he filled them up she turned to collect them.

Watching her got him heated and he wonders if she still felt her urges for him. He asks slowly and hesitantly

"Hmm? Samuel? Are you alright?" she sees him looking away rather quickly, working on the veggies to cook. He didn't want to do something wrong but she was just too adorable right now. He needed to clear his head right now and didn't wish to upset her in anyway.

"Yes; I'm alright Rachel. No worries."

"O-oh. I was just wondering. You seem to be out of it and you also seem distracted?" she looks at him still focused.
