"It's alright. I'm just happy your even here with me. I know we are going to be together more now..but you don't have to worry anymore. I'll help you with whatever I can. Even giving blood to help you." she said that he was looking at her that she was resting in his touch. She must have woken up and changed into some sleep wear for them with her wearing a nightgown and him wearing sleeping sweatpants.

"Would you really....give me blood after all you endured? I know it was painful after what happened but..seeing you all scared and hurt like that, I just....." he said but she keeps holding his hand to pull him close in a hug but he was already quiet trying to relax. He looks at her as he just lays down with her on the bed that she was hugging him close while they were resting up.

"Lets not talk about it...anymore. It's fine and it's all over now. Were are here together and just recovering together. Besides, you know how I am when it comes to you." she sees him silent and looking tired again.

"So you would either way....won't you?"

"Of course I would. You're the love of my life. I want you to be alright after what you done. Lets just relax as Carlos said since he gave us vacation after what you done. You save the city.....so I figure that should tell you it's going to be fine again. I know it's going to be just us b..but...I'm happy being here with you. I know you will be alright again if I take care of you." she said but Tomas said nothing that he was looking towards her. She really was caring for him that it made Alice remain calm. She looks to him notice Tomas just holding her but his fangs were seen feeling a little hungry.

"Are you hungry now? Do you need blood?"

"......."

"Tomas?"

"I can't because I know you been through a lot. You were hurt and touched by the enemy. They fed from you and hurt you. I know it hurts still even after I healed you....I just...*sighs* I don't want to bring up some bad memories again that would make you afraid of me doing that again. If I have to drink some sub blood or the pills, I'll do just that. Anything to not risk scaring you." he held her tight against his chest but he feels her shift in his arms that Alice lets out a sigh holding him close.

"Please don't...don't hold back eating again. I don't want you to get hurt again...please Tomas...if you need to eat; feed. I don't mind."

"*Sighs looking at her*

"Yes, I still feel the after affects from what they done to me. Even drinking my blood and touching me. It's going to be some time before I want to...feel that but it shouldn't stop me from wanting to take care of you. I love you Tom...I just want you to be healthy again."

"Alice.."

"Now come on, do you need blood or not?" she sees him not answering but she looks into his eyes seeing him just looking more tired moments later. She held his cheeks that Tomas sees her get pulled into his chest that he held her close. He rests his head into her shoulder feeling his fangs ache but she rubs the back of his head to him starting to part his lips with fangs exposed.

Alice held him before he sinks his fangs into her main vein to start eating. She tenses up holding back a yelp to escape her but feels him gulping her blood down slowly. His hands gripping her nightgown while swallowing her blood. It tasted hot and smooth but he still feeds from her while she held him close not letting him go.

True, the ones that kidnapped her fed from his feeding spot but he didn't let go still feeding form her. He hated that they did this to her that he only deepens the fangs before she shuts her eyes still feeling his fangs sinking deeper and deeper into her. Seconds later, he slowly pulls back to his fangs coated in her blood as she was panting from the long feeding since she feels him lick up the blood and heals the bite.

Alice feels that that he lays back holding her close that she was turned around to have his arms wrapped around her waist as he presses up behind her and held her in a gentle embrace. He didn't want to let her go and Alice didn't mind. Anything to see him alright again.

He just pulls her up close in his arms so they can rest up for the night. Tomas rests up to fall right back to sleep but he didn't let her go while Alice relaxed in his arms to sleep herself once more into the night. Maybe things will be better for them both since she was recovering and the same for him too.

" alice. i dont want you to worry too much okay. i am going to be fine." he said softly and she cuddles closer.

" i know you are but i want to take care of you. e-even if its hard to stay close i need to stay close to you." she said and he brushes her burning cheek.

"i promise i will recover fast. your donation of power really helped me win. i couldnt have done any of that alone. we saved the city not me. try to remember that my love." that may have been a bit much. she gasps as she heated more out of control. he said that they saved the city and was making sure she knew he saw it as her and him doing it together. she also caught on to the fact that he knew she helped him in the fight when years ago he would have snarled at her and felt useless for needing help.

this time was different he accepted her help[ and was aware and still holding her close and giving her small loving touches to help her feel more like herself. she got so heated form his words that her burning face broke out into a fever as she fell into his chest and whimpers and then whines as her excitement and happiness overflow.

anything anyone did to her before no longer mattered thanks to his words of praise for helping him and his accepting and recognizing that help was new for his character and one of her deep secret desires hidden even from herself. he never guessed that this would push her over the top and she kisses him in a much more heated way than she intended trying to settle and cool her mind.

it didnt work because of how she gets with him and her sleep wear seemed to slowly slip off as they rock back and forth locked in each others lips and embrace.

" m-my my you really are excited. were you trying to be a naughty girl or am i just lucky?" he asks her and she purrs licking his lips before answring.

"MMMMM maybe both. you never been so understanding before and i just go crazy when you are your special self." that made him blush feeling almost the same heat she was feeling.

"m-me? special?" he asks and she nods before kissing his neck. remembering her words before he slipped her night gown back on her shoulders more securely and she was confident and certain that this was one of those special times where they both couldnt resist the other. his desire was plain between her legs as it pressed up agaisnt her and her lack of maintaining her gown showed her own desires and they both didnt move forward out of respect for her situation.

she almost felt that his love would erase the memory of what happened but nothing could prepare them fro how much she really wished to help him when he was really wanting to give her his love. slow soft affections were what they limited themselves to for the next hour and she thought maybe this time wouldnt be bad.

maybe if he did what they did she would replace the memory with him and she may get over it sooner. that was his thought and she felt that thought in him.

"Either way, lets just rest up for tonight. We will be here together resting up. Nothing wrong or up with that right?" he still held her close but she smiled resting her head into his chest. Alice didn't mind even if her body shook from being close after what happened. She was holding off to ignore the fear while going ahead to doing her own in resting.

"That's fair. Lets go ahead and get some sleep. I will be sure to cook some big breakfast for us to eat alright?" she feels him shift so he's holding her close to kiss her cheek.

"Alright. Good night Alice."

"Night, Tomas."

The two of them smile then went right back to sleep together. Even if he was holding her so gently and carefully, she didn't move away from him while they sleep together in the darkness of the room. Later in the morning, he was still sleeping but she was awake cooking breakfast for him. Her hair was in a bun but messy as she was fixing pancakes, waffles, eggs, toast, grits, etc. Just for him and her to share. She already got a text message to see that Carlos got the report so he wouldn't bother them as he gave his word.

She was cooking the pancakes right now while listening to some light music but not too loud that it would wake Tomas. The news was playing to see everything still in rubble. The workers were fixing up everything but that was only speaking of how long it would take. Alice knew it would take months to fix the whole city but she didn't worry about it.

For now, she was focused on taking care of Tomas even if he would be alright after resting up. She still wanted to help him or take care of him because she cared about him. For now, this was close with the stacks of food piping hot for him and her to eat together. She was almost done but was looking down at the food to put it off the pan and to the plate. She did look hearing the news speaking of the ones that caused this making her tense up remember what happened. She shook her head trying to clear her mind not wanting to remember that night.

It still was painful and thinking about it will only make her worry even more. For now, she stayed focus and keep on doing what she had to. Her hand tightening on the spatula but shudders to look at the batter making more.

'Don't think about it. I'm safe now; he's safe now. Their gone......don't worry about it.' she thought still mixing even if her hand was tightening trying to clear her head but the anger and fear was slowly building up in her. Alice hated feeling like this but she only lets out a breath still calming down.

her heart skipped a few beats and she nearly screams feeling powerful arms wrap around her chest. she jumped and thomas caught the pan and the food making sure it didnt spill.

"my my youre excitable today." he said and she hit him with the spatula.

"dont DO that. you scare the life out of me." she said shaking and calming own once she relaized it was him.

"a good scare can help you love. it can also get rid of nasty thoughts like you are going through. i mean you didnt even hear my good morning." he was birght and smiley hugging her as she returns to her cooking.

"i thought you were sleeping im sorry." he kisses her cheek and goes outside to grab the news paper.

"i was then i smelled food. you know that wakes me up." he said sitting down and flicking through the pages. he didnt like the news but he needed to know what the reporters thought was going on so he could counter the people who think the news is church.

he was gald to know that both of them were left out and the police were all decorated for their heroism. the city even agreed to build a new precinct and a new academy where some of the oldest buildings used to stand. the news on tv flashed with various tragic tales and seemed to paint a picture of the apocalypse.

She kept cooking but didn't look at the news. This made her more nervous from the images and words the news caster was speaking of that it leaves Alice remaining silent to grip the spatula tighter that she was close to breaking it. Of course Tomas noticed but he saw her calm down just a little still cooking.

"Alice, are you sure you're going to be alright? Now your shaking like a little leaf right now. I don't want you to hurt yourself if you are that afraid and worried. I know that you are worried about it but..." he remains silent after a while to see her not answering him. Yeah, she was worried and scared a little but maybe she had nightmares or something?

"I'll be fine. I just need to calm my nerves..that's all. I don't want to over do it and....freak out. Just let me cool my head and I should be fine."

"Alice, I'm just making sure you are alright. You know you can tell me anything you know. *touches her shoulder* Everything will be alright-" that's when she snaps the spatula in half startling him with her strength. She looks down shaking again but he was calming her down to help her breath in and out.

"Alice-"

"I'm okay..I'm okay.." she mutters not looking at him.

"no you arent. talk to me about it you know i can help/" he said firmly and gripped ehr shoulder tight. he was only a bit worried but she neede to have a firm talking to if sh was going to get over this quickly. maybe something more than talkig but lets cover talking first.

"i said im fine." she said and he didnt belive her. he knew her well nnough that she wasnt fine becaus esh was always gentle with him and her tools especilly when cooking.

"yuoure not fine you are deeply torubled and i know why. you forget that your energy is connected toyour thoughts and i can hear them when you channel to me. so i know exactly what hapened to you... so have it out here and now." he said and took the broken peices and welded them together with his energy.

She didn't say anything with eyes widen since he was right. They were bounded together so that means he knew about the fears and pain she felt the other night. Everything from what the bastards did to her to what they left behind flowing in her blood stream. She looks away from his view not seeing his eyes that he was looking more silent at the thought. Was she still in pain from what happened to her?

Tomas saw her not looking to her but he felt her hand shaking after she did break the spatula. He lets out a sigh really concerned before he sees her yank her wrist from his hand but they didn't say anything for while now. "*Sighs* Alice..I know you're still hurt and scared even if you smile. I know it hurts but please don't do this again. Don't push me away when you get like this." he mutters but Alice didn't respond to him.

"I said I was fine, Tomas. You don't need to worry about me. Please...I don't....want you worried about me. Just drop it alright? Please.." she turns to look away from him but he turns her around with a little force to hold her in place. He looks at the top of her head to see her remaining silent.

"How are you fine? Your not fine because you look upset right now. You won't look at me, you won't talk to me, you're just doing what you did in the past. Every time you get like this, you don't say a word. You become lost in your little world thinking I'm just bothering you. Please understand I'm right here for you. Nothing will keep me from helping you. Even if your trying to push me away. I'm here.""

"Tomas please..I said I'm..."

"Stop lying to yourself. You are not fine! I know your not fine! You were never fine because of what those bastards did to you!"

"!!!!" he sees her look down shaking again from the memory but he pinches the bridge of his nose, trying to calm down so he didn't snap at her. It's not her fault; the ones that hurt her was at fault. He takes another breath then removes his hand from her shoulder.

"*Lets out a slow angry breath* Listen to me..Please. I don't want to snap at you. I don't want to yell at you. I'm only here to help you because you mean way too much to me. I don't want you doing something that will hurt yourself. So...don't. do this. Please don't start doing something that's going to make me mad."

"...W..why? Is making you mad better than what we been through-"

"Don't."

She remains quiet to stop talking then slowly lets out a breath herself. "....." Alice turns to head to the room to go calm down while he stood there in the kitchen alone as he saw the food she made all done. Tomas only shook his head to cover his face not wanting this to happen again. Not again. He decided to give her time and goes ahead to check on her hours later.

At Noon, she was sitting on the balcony of the house looking out while she was hugging her legs to her chest. She saw the houses were being fixed up but their home only suffered minor damage. Looking ahead only made her calm the nerves but she shuts her eyes still almost hearing the slight voices of the fuckers that made her feel ill.
