It was now two on one and the demon armor reformed as smoky form restored itself. It lashed out with the witches magic except that the spell had none of the limits or restraints. With a long shout he finally pulled hard enough to rip the things head clean off and the portal destabilized. There was a sudden burst of power as the darkness instantly burned away and she was climbed by how bright everything was as it returned to normal with the darkness gone the spell inside her faded and she rubbed her eyes trying to get whr sight back. That brought some life back to Rachel and she realized they gave their blessing for her to love him and gave him clothes that were tougher than most armor without the weight or movement restrictions.

"Thank you sisters" he said bowing as he accepted the gift.

"Thank you sisters. I will never forget those who were lost nor any of you... you are helping keep my love safe I can't Tha k you enough for that." Rachel said to them giving them a hug but as thankful as she was she was still sad. She would get better but it would be a while. She still had her lover and she still had his love. She was empty looking but leaning in him and getting better slowly. The whole day they rode away from that place towards their next goal. She wasn't sure what will happen after everything is over but maybe she'll be at peace more. Maybe he will too. For now, she just remains quiet looking ahead as they keep making their way.

What's wrong?" He asks her and she looked away.

"When this is over we might part ways." She said speaking her fear. He stopped the wagon.

"What makes you say that?" He asks a bit surprised she didn't know his hopes.

"Because when the prince of darkness is finished you won't need me anymore. I don't want to be parted from you." She said and he clicked his tongue not saying anything. The wagon continued and he thought about his words.

"We promised to always be together. I won't part ways with you after we win." He said and she didn't seem to believe him. Her loss and grief was so great she couldn't hear his words a d she was stuck with her fear. She needed time to recover.

Several days later she noticed that he was returning to the Belmont h8ld and not going after the final peice of his second weapon. She was curious and confused but said nothing.

She didn't know nor understand why they were here. But maybe he forgot something before going back to his mission. That was right, she was just the side help right now. Even if she was scared she'll just be alone again. Well, that or someone else finding her. She was lost in thought right now even when he was still seeing them moving forward still near some spot where they might either rest or think of their next move.

"We won't continue our quest until you feel better. " He said to her as they pass the main gate. She didn't think she would feel better and she just looked empty and sad.
